The Mighty Oak season is just beginning but Forward Yuri Farkas has wasted no time to settle in with his new team, AFC Ann Arbor. In each of his first three matches (two friendlies and one NPSL tilt), Farkas has found the back of the net, with the latest goal being a game winner in the NPSL Game of the Week.
Coach Rudland was happy to see one of his players get nominated and added, "This is an honor for AFC Ann Arbor, being a new NPSL franchise and a great achievement for Yuri. He is a humble, hard working player, who has done well for us so far. Not only is he a gifted footballer, but the players around him have complimented him nicely."
For his efforts and outstanding play, Farkas has been nominated as Mitre National Player of the Week.
