Who do you come to the games with typically? Wife and two boys (7 & 10 years old)
Who is your favorite AFC Ann Arbor player? Why? Lars, Dario, Kyle, Yuri, Willie, Tristan, KT, Knox...so many awesome players to choose from! I would have to say my favorite player is our wall of a goalie, TJ Tomasso. His willingness to lay it out there every game and come up with awesome saves was incredible to watch.
Why is AFC Ann Arbor so special to you? What do you love most about the club? We didn't know what to expect when we first bought season tickets, but we were excited to have a team so close to our home. Our boys were just starting to play competitively, and we wanted an opportunity to introduce them to the sport. From the very first game, we were hooked on the atmosphere, excitement and spirit of the team.
How does it make you feel knowing you're helping build something from the ground up? We have connections to the University, but it was different to be able to support an Ann Arbor club. We love the city, beyond the University, and it was exciting to be able to see a team represent our home.
What is your most memorable AFC Ann Arbor moment? This past season was truly magical, as it seemed like no matter what the score was, AFC always found a way to win. There were some late goals that made us go absolutely crazy. The come-from-behind victory over Grand Rapids on Memorial Day definitely stands out as one of my favorites.
