Rod joins AFC for the 2018 as an assistant coach. Rod has a wealth of football experience in Europe as a Head Coach and Sporting Director, serving in those roles in Albania with the likes of KS Korabi, FC Dinamo Tirana and F.C Kastrioti. Locally he was a standout player at Madonna University and currently works for Waza FC Soccer club in Livonia. Rod holds the prestigious UEFA A Coaching License.

Returning for his second season with The Mighty Oak, Jeff Shuk is a high level GK coach and field coach. Shuk has formerly worked in the semi-pro realm as the Head coach of the former Detroit Arsenal (NPSL), as an Asst coach and GK coach with the Michigan Stars (NPSL) and with Toledo United (PLA). He has former ties to the Ann Arbor area where he served as the Men's Club Soccer coach at the University of Michigan for 8 seasons (1999-2006). Shuk is a certified NSCAA GK coach and is the Director of Goal Keeping for the Michigan Rush in Northville.

Ron is currently the Boys Soccer Coach at Western High School in Parma, a position he has held now for over 30 years. Ron has a wealth of knowledge pertaining to tactics & player management. He holds the NSCAA Premier Diploma. Ron & Eric previously worked with one another at Lansing United.
